HIstory of Sumbawa

With the set of Law Number 30 Year 2003 dated December 18, 2003 officially seperated into Sumbawa and Sumbawa regency of West Sumbawa regency. So Sumbawa covering 20 districts. While 5 District became part of West Sumbawa regency, namely:

Then along with the dynamic development of communities in the district and sub-district Ropang Lopok Lape and the implementation of Act 32 of 2004 on Regional Government, District and Sub Ropang Lopok Lape, bloomed again the district and sub-district Lopok Lape.
